Sample Contract

 This contract represents the complete terms and conditions between NAME (“client”) and Iselda (“performer”). 

1. Aditi shall provide:
   1. 1 dancer for a performance on [date], starting between [time] at [location] in [city, state].
   2. The total performance time shall be at least [X] minutes and include [special requests]. 
   3. The performer will provide music in the form of an iPod, iPhone, CD or USB drive.
2. The client shall provide:
   1. A non refund deposit of $[X] upon signing the contract in the form of a digital payment to performer to reserve the event date.
   2. Payment in the amount of $[X] due immediately following the performance (cash is preferred).
      1. If the performance is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the event, payment in full is still required via digital payment. 
      2. Tips from audience members are appreciated but not required. 
   3. A safe and adequate space for the performance shall be provided. This includes a floor or stage free of broken glass, spilled liquids or other hazardous objects. This also includes an environment free of harassment of a sexual or other nature. If the performer deems the environment unsafe for the above or other reasons, they may leave without rendering services. In that case the client will still be responsible for paying the full fee amount. 
      1. If an audience member would like to tip the dancer in their costume, it should be placed on the sides of the belt or in the armbands. Money showers or garlands are other recommended forms of tipping.
   4. A sound system and/or the DJ’s communication info to coordinate music.
   5. Any special suggestions or requests must be provided well in advance of the performance. Changes close to the event date may incur additional fees.  
   6. That the show starts upon the agreed upon time. If the performers are required to start more than 30 minutes after the latest part of the performance window, an extra charge of $50 will apply. In some cases, extreme lateness may result in a shorter show or constitute a breach of contract on the part of the client.
   7. Payment in a timely manner. If the performer(s) are required to wait more than 30 minutes after performing for payment, an extra charge of $50 will apply. Often for special events, payment is left with the event planner, event coordinator or DJ so that the guest(s) of honor and/or organizers will not be disturbed with this detail. 
   8. A safe and private space for the performer to change clothes and store their bags.
